Last Saturday, I had a last minute movie date with Aps & Jen. I knew nothing about the movie except that it was originally a book. We were in for a ride. ;p

ethan: i get it. you're in a tough spot because you love him. but you gotta do something about it, rachel. because he's being a total coward and if he breaks your heart, i'm gonna take a swing at him and then i'm probably going to let him beat me up.

rachel: i gotta go to work, i'm late.

ethan: i know, rachel. that's the point. be late. better yet QUIT. at least there would be a decision. rachel, you're all going to hell anyway so you might as well do something for yourself. FOR ONCE.

movie: definitely, maybe.

i've watched parts of the movie definitely, maybe starring ryan reynolds and isla fisher over the past week. it was recommended to me by my friend, aps, and one of the movie's main characters is named april, and heck this is my first blog post for the month of april. :) i took advantage of the long weekend, hoping it would be shown on hbo again but it aired for the last time last sunday. so i panicked, and watched it online instead. (i know, bad!) of course, watching it took forever, and i slept at around 4:30 am, but so worth it.

i loved it. my favorite part was april and will meeting at a bar/restaurant and talking about the "real deal". (unfortunately, i can't find a clip for this one.)

will : you see, i don't want a fling. i want the real deal.
april: forget about the real deal. you don't find it, it finds you.
will : what does that mean? i don't know what that means.
april: it means that you get to a certain age and then you're ready. you know, you're ready for kids or commitment or you know, a mortgage, you know what i mean? and the person that you are with then becomes the one.
will : so you're saying it's not who, it's when?
april: exactly.

superhuman? nah, just suicidal.

everyday, i wake up and deal with the impossible. each.and.every.freakin.workin.day. then i go home, and sleep wishing i'll never have to do the impossible all over again. ¤ö¤

he's just not that into you

i bought this book (he's just not that into you by greg behrendt and liz tuccillo) a couple of years ago, just for kicks. and man, the book made sense. haha! it was a good read, i even gave a copy to a friend. i'd forgotten all about the book until it popped into my mind one night while i was 'contemplating' (my 'favorite' past time.. harhar) things. it really is a good read, especially if you're going through an 'it's complicated' phase of your love life. you just might find out, you're not that into him either. ;p

one tree hill - 4 years, 6 months, 2 days..

Brooke: Okay, then let me ask you something. What is gonna make you happy, Peyton? Is it how you look? Or the car you drive or the people you know? Is it money or celebrity or power or accomplishments? Because I have all those things and I don't think it's enough.
Peyton: Well then, what is?
Brooke: Love, I think. And that love can be for a boy or a girl or a place or a way of life or even for a family. But where you find it is up to you. So where are you gonna find that love, Peyton?
Peyton: I think I need to go home.

we had a synergy seminar sponsored by axa at our branch this afternoon. the speaker asked us, "up to what age would you want to stay with metrobank?" i thought it was just in my head but i said it out loud, "twenty five." bwahahaha..
